Paste a Spotify artist link

Artist claims are closed.

SPOTIPAY lets anyone launch a community coin that points at a Spotify artist profile. Pasting that link proves nothing about who manages the artist, and signing in to Spotify as a listener doesn't either. So no claim can be made and no payout can be sent through this release. The claim endpoint refuses every request, whatever token or wallet comes with it.

What happens to creator fees

Each coin is created with its own custody wallet, and its creator fees are recorded against the artist ID it was launched for. That record is append only. The fees stay where they are until a reviewed ownership process exists and the operator turns it on. Nothing is paid into Spotify, and none of this is a Spotify royalty.

How ownership will be reviewed

There is no automated way to prove artist ownership with Spotify's public API, so a person reviews each case. The procedure the operator follows:

  1. The artist or their team writes in from a channel already public on the artist's verified profiles, such as an official site, label contact or a verified social account.
  2. They post a one-time phrase we give them on one of those channels and name the Solana wallet that should receive fees.
  3. The reviewer records the request, a SHA-256 fingerprint of the evidence and the wallet in an append-only audit table. Evidence and notes are stored sealed; records can't be edited or deleted, only followed by a new "rejected" or "revoked" entry.
  4. A second check happens before anything moves: the wallet signs a message naming the artist ID.
  5. Only once payouts are switched on in a later release does an approved review release that artist's recorded fees, once, with an idempotent payout record.

Until then every request ends at step 3. If you manage an artist and want to start a review, contact the operator through the X account linked in the header once it is set.
